Bridget Sheffield is a co-owner of Stout, Sheffield & Associates, PC. She is a goal-oriented and dedicated accountant who is passionate about making a difference for her clients. She loves getting to know her clients on a personal level and she loves working with numbers. To Bridget, numbers aren’t just numbers; numbers can translate into a livelihood and a future for her clients and she wants to be able to give her clients the best future possible.

As a Certified Public Accountant for Culbreth, Stout & Associates, PC, Bridget provides a wide range of accounting and tax services, including income tax return preparation, sales tax return preparation, personal property tax return preparation, payroll and payroll tax services, tax resolution, extensive QuickBooks services, bookkeeping, and much more, to small and mid-sized businesses across all industries.

Some of the projects Bridget has recently completed for her clients include:\

• Assistance with succession planning and selling the businesses of a number of clients
• The discovery of fraud on multiple occasions while reconciling clients’ bank statements
• Helping a client become debt-free, make better financial decisions, and improve cash flow management by providing timely, organized, and efficient bookkeeping
• Setting up QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online (and cleaned up QuickBooks files) for numerous clients
• Keeping clients up-to-date with payroll compliance
• Guiding clients through both IRS audits and state audits

Bridget has worked for Culbreth, Stout & Associates, PC her entire career. She started in 2003 (then Culbreth, Minick & Associates, PC) as an accounting clerk and office manager assistant responsible for answering phones and greeting clients. Very quickly, she became responsible for managing client accounts and has amassed a great deal of accounting experience in the 20 years she has been with the firm. She became a partner in 2015.
Bridget received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management from Valdosta State University. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA). In the past she has served as Chairman of Finance Committee, and as a member of both the Audit Committee and Nursery Committee at her church. She is a Certified TSheets Pro Fundamentals.
In her free time, you’ll probably find Bridget with her nose stuck in a book; she loves to read novels of all genres. You may also find her taking relaxing walks, fishing, travelling, or spending quality time with her husband, son and their dogs, bulldogs Moon and Sky. Bridget is a huge music enthusiast—she has sung in her church’s choir and especially loves songs from movies and plays. She’s also a huge fan of medical dramas (“The Good Doctor” and “New Amsterdam”), cooking competitions, game shows, and family shows (“Heartland” and “This is Us”). She is a member of Pauline Baptist Church where she volunteers in the church nursery and loves living in Brooks County and seeing all the farm fields every day.

Megan has over 19 years of experience in the accounting industry. She received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting, Marketing, and Management from Valdosta State University. She has experience in auditing, tax, payroll, and bookkeeping services. Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, catching up on TV shows and movies, gardening, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Tony, have two children and two dogs. Megan also loves going to concerts with her daughter and watching her son play soccer. She and her family enjoy spending time in St. Simon’s Island and traveling to see friends and family.

Mim is a retired teacher of 30 years but enjoys the accounting atmosphere. She has been married for 27 years with 2 wonderful boys. She loves supporting the FSU Seminoles, VSU Blazers, and Lowndes Vikings. Her favorite place to go is the beach. She also loves roller coasters & water parks!

When she is not at work, Mim enjoys reading mystery novels, swimming, playing board games, corn hole, organizing things, and hanging out with family and friends.
