Tax Deadlines.
- January 16: 4th Quarter of prior year estimated tax payment due.
- January 23: The first day of tax season!
- January 31: Due date for employers to send W-2 forms.
- January 31: Due date for 1099 Forms to be sent. If January 31 is on a weekend or holiday, then they are due the following business day.
- March 15: Due date for many types of businesses to file taxes or an extension.
- April 18: Tax filing or extension filing due date!
- April 18: 1st Quarter of the current year estimated tax payment due date.
- June 15: 2nd Quarter of the current year estimated tax payment due date.
- September 15: 3rd Quarter of the current year estimated tax payment due date. Also, this is the due date for extensions filed on Partnerships and S-Corps.
- October 16: Extended tax returns due.
- January 15: 4th Quarter of current year estimated tax payment due.
*** For areas affected by Hurricane Idalia, the 2022 Extended Tax Return deadline has been moved to February 15, 2024. ***
